Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and their families upon arrival.
• Manage patient scheduling and confirm appointments using Dental and Orthodontic scheduling softwares.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Handle phone inquiries and provide information about services offered.
• Process patient intake forms and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry as needed.
• Collaborate with dental/orthodontic staff to ensure efficient office operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with patients/parents.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
• High School Diploma/equivalent (required)
